Welcome to Super Genius Labs

Notes on why we built a lab around agent teams, not chatbots.

Super Genius Labs Editorial · 1 min readUpdated

We did not start this lab to ship another chatbot. The shape of the product we cared about was a team of agents — coordinated, observable, specific to the work they do, and able to hand off to a human when the situation calls for it.

The bet

The cheap path is a thin wrapper around a frontier model and a prompt. That works until the business needs three things at once: real-time voice, structured tool calls into operational systems, and failure records that a team can act on.

We are building for that third week of production, not the demo.

What this blog is for

  • Engineering — the stack we run, what breaks in production, what we deleted because it was clever and useless.
  • Product — what is shipping in Genius Care and the other vertical agents we are spinning up.
  • Customers — approved, evidence-backed accounts of what changes in real operations.
  • Thinking — the part of the company that is a point of view, not a feature.

If any of that overlaps with work you are doing, you should be on the build intake form.
